The designs refer to 'Flex'. What do these mean?

This refers to the print technique used to make our Flying Shirts.

'Flex' is a durable, flexible print technique. It gives a smooth texture and also allows for more unusual colouring techniques such as metallic and reflective effects. Please also note that no designs in our store are made from subpar and downright inferior digital t-shirt iron-ons as many "t-shirt" sites on the internet have.

How long will my shirt take for delivery?

Shipment is made within 1-2 business days of payment being received.

Once shipped, delivery times depend on the shipping service selected during the order process. The available shipping options are as follows:

Standard
Generally, shipments going to Eastern US destinations are sent via USPS standard delivery, whereas shipments going to Central or Western US destinations are sent via DHL Smart Mail. Canadian and International shipments are shipped via USPS parcel post airmail.

Estimated delivery times for standard shipments are between 4 and 10 mailing days. Most international customers experience shipping times between 5 days and 5 weeks. Please note that standard shipments are not guaranteed and we can not provide tracking information.

4 Day Ground
Shipping times are guaranteed and a tracking number is provided; you will receive your purchase no later than the seventh business day after your order begins to be produced.

Customers choosing 4 Day Delivery service should note that their package can be tracked via DHL through to their local United States Postal office. The final leg of the shipment will be provided by the United States Postal Service. Please note that Saturday delivery is possible with this shipping type.

2nd Day
This delivery option is guaranteed; you will receive your order by 5 PM on the second business day following your shipment.

Express
This delivery option is guaranteed; you will receive your purchase no later than 3PM the next business day after shipment is made.

*Please note these two important point regarding 2nd Day and Express Delivery:

1) In the event that an article in your order cannot be produced because we do not have your chosen size or color available, our Customer Service team will make every attempt to contact you by email or by telephone to suggest alternative choices. Should we not be able to contact you in time to ensure that your order ships within the time frame of your guaranteed shipment, we will use our best judgment to replace the product. In these instances, we will notify you by letter with your shipment to explain the changes.

2) 2nd Day and Express Delivery cannot be shippped to P.O. Box addresses. If you have entered a P.O. Box address and chosen 2nd Day or Express Delivery, your shipment is likely to be delayed and cannot be gauranteed. In this instance, or in the unlikely case we cannot ship according to the terms you selected within two business days of producing the order, Long Island Clothing will reimburse the additional shipping costs to you and ship your item via Standard delivery.

Why do the prices for certain combinations of shirt and designs vary?

Some designs are more intricate to print than others or contain multiple colors, and so the production costs are a little higher. We try to minimize our costs where possible, while still maintaining the quality of the designs and products.

We have partnered with Spreadshirt in order to provide you with the best quality products and service. They handle the merchandising on our behalf, from ordering through to distribution. This enables us to concentrate on the designs and product selection and keep our costs very low so that you don't have to pay top dollar for quality apparel. From time to time Spreadshirt may contact you on our behalf regarding your order, although you may always contact us directly for any help you may need.

How do I wash my new t-shirt?

To get the most use out of your new Long Island Clothing shirt please use the following care and washing methods.

Wash in cold water
Avoid liquid detergents
Do not tumble dry
Do not dry clean
Please wash inside out
Iron carefully

Flex designs are very durable and striking print techniques.
